It’s already been a few months since Terra’s collapse and the Styllar team’s announcement to migrate on the Polygon Blockchain. Today, we’re excited to announce that Styllar is officially migrating to Polygon on August 26th at noon.
In this article, we will answer some frequently asked questions about how the migration will work and what you can expect to receive next week!
How does claiming work, and what will you receive next week?
Next week, you’ll be able to claim all your Styllars on the Polygon blockchain and all your rubies corresponding to the items and the custom Styllars you had on the Terra blockchain. For this operation, you will need to connect on our website with your Terra wallet and your new Polygon wallet (using Metamask) simultaneously. This process is relatively simple and will allow you to link all your Terra classic holdings to your Polygon wallet. The interface to claim on our website will look like this.
You will be able to see the number of rubies you’re entitled to claim and the amount of Styllars you can claim on the Polygon blockchain. The action of claiming and transferring your holdings will prompt transactions on both the Terra classic blockchain and the Polygon blockchain, so make sure you have enough $luna and $matic in your wallets to pay the gas fees.
Once you have claimed your Styllars and your Rubies, you will be able to see them on our website in our new refreshed UI.
With this migration, we’re taking the opportunity to make the collection we wish we had back in October 2021. All 10029 Styllars that are not uniques will be upgraded and reminted with over 550 custom-tailored items! We’re pretty confident that the amount of item possibility makes Styllar one of the biggest, if not the biggest NFT collection, all blockchain included! The Styllar team is pretty pumped about this, and as a member of the Styllar Club, you should be too because it’s a fantastic achievement to hold! The migration process with the new collection is relatively simple; if you had the rank 50th Styllar, you would receive the new rank 50th Styllar with all his new items/traits!
Please, note that users will have up to 30 days to claim their holdings on the Polygon blockchain. After that period of time, unclaimed Styllars will be reminted and made available for everyone, including the new community we’re building on Polygon.
What’s happening to the 31 uniques?
The 31 uniques from the Terra collection will remain the same and be transferred to their current owners on the Polygon blockchain.
When is the Avatar builder, Fuser system, and Marketplace coming back?
The target for all those functions is currently September-October. Once those go live, users can trade their rubies for items and fluently swap their articles on their Styllars without burning any items. However, upgrading items in the Fuser System will still be burning items like you are used to. Fusing multiple of the same items will make them upgrade from level 1 to level 2, 3, 4, and 5.
What’s happening to the loot boxes?
The loot boxes you had in your inventory were converted into rubies when you claimed them on our website. In the future, we plan on making purchasable loot boxes in our marketplace that will give random items that are exclusive to those loot boxes. We believe this will be a fun way of spending your rubies and enjoying some randomness. We will provide more details on this in a couple of weeks.
What’s happening to the royalties sharing?
Unfortunately, due to legal reasons here in Canada, we can no longer consider giving royalties as a perk of being a Styllar Club member. This would require us to KYC all our holders that are receiving said royalties, which is absolutely not something we want to do.
What are the perks of being in the Styllar Club?
Being in the Styllar Club is being part of an exclusive group of investors. In the future, you will receive access to exclusive VIP live events. You will also receive exclusive whitelist spots to collaborative collections and partners NFTs. As we develop our business-to-business model, many of the businesses collaborating with us will be part of the Styllar Club by owning Styllars themselves, thus opening some serious opportunities to our holders. Holders can also expect to receive by airdrop some exclusive holders loot boxes with items only obtainable in those.
